Q. I installed the PRO Bypass Module and my vehicle still isn’t starting. I tested the voltage on the red wire, and there’s no power. If I jump 12V to the red wire, the car starts and runs. What’s the problem?

A.  The PRO Bypass Module red wire needs to receive power from the ignition.  There may be a cut or loose wire.

• On a PassKey system, the red wire needs to receive ignition power and the black wire is ground.  
• On a Passlock system, the red AND white wires receive ignition power and the black wire is ground.
