1997-2003 Chevrolet Corvette

Locate the BCM and install the PRO Full Bypass

The TDM is embedded in the Body Control Module (BCM). The BCM is in the RIGHT kick panel.

There are 3 electrical connectors on the BCM (C1, C2, C3)

If the enclosure of your NEWROCKIES PRO Module is green and blue, please setup the switches as following (if enclosure is black, please submit a request to our support team for correct switch configurations): 

 

Open the NEWROCKIES PRO Module's cover (this will NOT void the warranty) by removing the 2 screws on the bottom. Inside there are 2 sets of switches.

 

Set SW1 (8 switches) as following:

DIP SWITCHES (SW1)

Set SW2 (10 switches) as following:

To install the NEWROCKIES PRO Module, connect it as following:

 

PRO Bypass

Car Wires

RED & WHITE wires       

Splice into BCM Connector C2, Pin D13, Pink

BLK

Splice to a good metal chassy ground

PPL

Not Used

GRN

Not Used

YEL

Cut the wire on BCM C1 Pin A3 (WHT/BLK) and connect the YEL wire of the PRO Module to it on the side of the BCM connector. Tape the other side

BLU

Not Used

BRN

Splice into BCM connector C1 pin B2 (PPL/WHT)

 

Be sure the light on the side of Pro Bypass module lights when the key is turned on if there is no light then the Red or Black wire are not getting the power and ground if the light is on then follow the directions below:

 

Perform the re-learning procedure

  1. Turn ON the ignition, with the engine OFF.
  2. Attempt to start the engine, then release the key to ON (vehicle will not start).
  3. Observe the SECURITY light, after approximately 10 minutes the light will turn OFF.
  4. Turn OFF the ignition, and wait 10 seconds.
  5. Repeat steps 1 through 4 two more times for a total of 3 cycles/30 minutes
  6. The vehicle is now ready to relearn the Sensor Data Code and/or passwords on the next ignition switch transition from OFF to CRANK.
  7. Start the engine (the vehicle has now learned the Sensor Data Code and/or password).

The installation is completed.
