1996-1999 Saturn S Series

To install the pro bypass module we will need to access the RKE module behind the right rear side seat attached to the in-structure



Disengage seat cushion by pushing rearward, then upward at 2 front retaining locations to release the rear cushion from the retainer.



Slide the cushion from under the seat back guiding the seat belt buckle through the seat cushion and remove the seat cushion.





Lower rear seat back.



Remove body lock trim finish molding by pulling firmly, starting at the bottom of the molding to disengage clips.



Slide molding out from under body lock pillar upper trim finish molding.











  1. Disconnect RKE module connector.
  2. Pull firmly on RKE module from the top to bottom, to disengage double side tape retainer.
  3. Remove RKE module.



If the enclosure of your NEWROCKIES PRO Module is green and blue, please setup the switches as following (if enclosure is black, please submit a request to our support team for correct switch configurations): 


Open the NEWROCKIES PRO Module's cover (this will NOT void the warranty) by removing the 2 screws on the bottom. Inside there are 2 sets of switches.


Set SW1 (8 switches) as following:

Leave SW2 (10 switches) the way it is. Close the PRO Module's cover.


To install the NEWROCKIES PRO Module, connect it as following:


PRO Bypass

Car Wires


Splice into the RKE connector Terminal J, Pink wire


Splice into the RKE connector Terminal N  Black wire


Cut the wire on Terminal D Yel/Blk wire and connect the PPL wire of the PRO bypass to it toward the harness going away from the RKE module plug

Plug the RKE module back to it’s connector.

The installation is completed.
