1996-1999 Pontiac Bonneville

Directions to install the PRO Full Bypass

First you will need to locate the plug at the park range selector switch. Locate the yellow with black stripe wire, you will cut this wire and ground the side that goes towards the plug of the switch. At this time the starter should work and turn the engine over.

Next find the POWERTRAIN CONTROL MODULE in the air filter box.

There are 2 connectors, you want the one with the blue insert.

If the enclosure of your NEWROCKIES PRO Module is green and blue, please setup the switches as following (if enclosure is black, please submit a request to our support team for correct switch configurations):

Open the NEWROCKIES PRO Module's cover (this will NOT void the warranty) by removing the 2 screws on the bottom. Inside there are 2 sets of switches.

Set SW1 (8 switches) as following:

DIP SWITCHES (SW1)
1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8

Leave SW2 (10 switches) the way it is. Close the PRO Module's cover.
