The factory security functions are managed by the Body Control Module (BCM) where we need to make the connections. The BCM is located by the radio. Some times the radio will need remove but most odf the time you can work without doing so.

Once you remove the trim panel you will be able to unplug the bcm to make the connections that are required.

There are 4 connectors

  2. Attempt to start the engine, then release the key to ON, vehicle will not start.
  3. Observe the SECURITY telltale, after approximately 10 minutes the telltale will turn OFF.
  4. Turn OFF the ignition, and wait 5 seconds.

Repeat steps 1 through 4 two more times for a total of 3 cycles/30 minutes, the vehicle is now ready to relearn the Passlock™ Sensor Data Code and/or passwords on the next ignition switch transition from OFF to CRANK.
